Description

Quilters Dream 80/20 the perfect blend of 80% high grade long staple USA cotton fiber paired with 20% fine denier poly microfiber for a soft, silky batting that drapes beautifully and breathes well. The long staple cotton fiber reduces shrinkage and adds stability so that the stitches can be up to 8” apart. The poly micro fibers add loft and resistance to creases/wrinkles. Our proprietary blended fibers are specially carded, cross-lapped, and needle-punched for strength, consistency, and a beautiful soft drape. There are no scrims, glues, or other binders to resist the needle, so this fine batting can be hand or machine quilted with ease.     consistent thickness

    I've probably ordered 3 of these rolls by now. Very consistent thickness. Non-directional (either side up when loading on quilt frame). Nice thickness and weight.

    30 yard batting roll

    First, let me say that I've ordered this batting several times over the last few years and love how it machine quilts. My only complaint is that the rolls seem to be damaged in transit. It's not a deal breaker, but it's annoying to have the packaging ripped and soiled enough to have to cut around a few winds of the roll.

    My first time using this batting. It is totally delicious!!!! Hands down the best cotton batting i have ever used. Ordering was quick and easy plus the item came sooner than anticipated (from manufacturer).

    Great for kids quilts

    Almost 90% of my quilts are for Linus Project which means kid quilts - which tend to get washed frequently. 80/20 cotton/poly is perfect for using in kids quilts because it washes great for years.
